यह घोषणा करता है कि भारत एक संप्रभु समाजवादी लोकतांत्रिक लोकतांत्रिक है, इसका मतलब है, लोगों द्वारा और लोगों के लिए सरकार।(It declares that India is a sovereign socialist democratic democratic, it means government by the people and for the people.)
यह रूप में संघीय है लेकिन आत्मा में एकात्मक है। ( It is federal in form but unitary in spirit.)
