ARTICLES-(A/An)

• विशेषण ‘A‘, ‘An‘, और ‘The‘ लेख कहलाते हैं।  The adjective ‘A‘, ‘An‘, and ‘The‘ are called Articles.
  • अनिश्चितकालीन लेख (Indefinite article):- ‘A/An’
  • निश्चित लेख(Definite article) :- ‘The’

अनिश्चितकालीन लेख का उपयोग(Use of Indefinite article) – A / An

1. ‘An‘ लेख का उपयोग स्वर से शुरू होने वाले शब्द से पहले किया जाता है। जैसे,(The article ‘An’ is used before a word beginning with a vowel sound. eg,)
   1. She is an intelligent girl.
   2. He is an MP.
   3. You are an honest man.
2. ‘A‘ लेख का उपयोग व्यंजन ध्वनि के साथ शुरू होने वाले शब्द से पहले किया जाता है। जैसे,(The article ‘A‘ is used before a word beginning with a consonant sound. eg,)
   
   1. He is a university student.
   2. He is a European.
   3. He is a one-eyed man.
3. ‘A/An‘ का प्रयोग एक विलक्षण गणनीय संज्ञा से पहले किया जाता है जब पहली बार किसी व्यक्ति या वस्तु का प्रतिनिधित्व करने के लिए इसका उल्लेख किया जाता है। जैसे,(‘A/An‘ is used before a singular countable noun when it is mentioned for the first time representing no particular person or thing. eg,)
   1. He has an axe.
   2. She is a lawyer.
   3. A boy came to my office.
4. ‘A/An‘ का प्रयोग एक विलक्षण गणनीय संज्ञा से पहले किया जाता है, जिसका उपयोग चीजों या व्यक्तियों के वर्ग के प्रतिनिधि के रूप में किया जाता है। जैसे,(‘A/An‘ is used before a singular countable noun which is used as the representative of a class of things or persons. eg,)
   1. A lion is a fierce animal.
   2. A pupil should obey his teacher.
   3. A dog is a faithful animal.
5. ‘A/An‘ का प्रयोग एक व्यक्तिवाचक संज्ञा की सामान्य संज्ञा बनाने के लिए किया जाता है। जैसे,(‘A/An’ is used to make a common noun of a proper noun. eg,)
   1. My neighbor is a Daniel.
   2. She is a Lata Mangeshkar.
   3. His brother is a Shylock.
6. ‘A/An ’का उपयोग विलक्षण गणनीय संज्ञाओं से पहले विस्मयादिबोधक किया जाता है। जैसे,(‘A/An‘ is used exclamations before singular countable nouns. eg,)
   1. What an interesting movie.
   2. What a pretty girl.
   3. What a lovely morning.
7. ‘A/An‘ का उपयोग इसके मूल अर्थों में एक या किसी एक में किया जाता है। जैसे,(‘A/An’ is used in its original sense of one or any. eg,)
   1. She wants a car.
   2. There are twelve inches is a foot.
   3. He bought a book.
